I am incredibly proud to be announced as a finalist in the ‘Up and Coming Personal Trainer of the Year’ category of the New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards 2021. This is an outstanding opportunity to be recognised by my peers in the fitness industry. AUT Millenium Gym was named ‘Independent Facility of the Year in 2020’ and a finalist again this year. The awards ceremony will take place online in December this year due to covid.
The Exercise Industry Awards have a number of categories and with the exception of three awards, awards are based on an application process that is reviewed by a judging panel.
UPDATE: Although I did not win the overall award this year, the application process has been very helpful in my business and very educational. I was one of four finalists nationwide and the only representative from Auckland. This is a very proud achievement for me after my first year as a PT. Congratulations to all the winners this year.
